- [Instructor] One of the most effective tools to help you communicate insights is a dashboard. What makes dashboarding so effective is that you can leverage the interactive components of most data visualization softwares out there in a way that empowers non-technical users to be able to slice through data, and thus, find insights. There are various different tools that enable you to create interactive dashboards. I have experience using both Tableau and Power BI, but other tools such as Clic, Google Data Studio and even Excel can also handle dashboarding. So how does dashboarding work? My general approach is to visualize KPIs along the top of a dashboard. Then visualize different dimensions of those high level data points to uncover insights.
