From the course: Designing Database Solutions for SQL Server 2016

What you should know

- [Instructor] Before taking this course, you should be familiar with the basics of working in SQL Server Management Studio and have access to a server instance that you have administrative permissions on. The free developer license level of SQL Server 2016 would be ideal, but you should also be able to follow along using the lighter weight Express Edition. We'll touch on some of the concepts surrounding relational database theory, but I don't expect you to have a deep familiarity with the topic. If you've taken my SQL Server 2016: The Basics course, or SQL Server 2016: Essential Training, you'll be all set to continue on with this course.
