The gift of presence

- The opposite of being present is to be absent, to be not there. Lacking presence can seem like you're absent, invisible, unheard, not having impact. Instead, to have presence is to be fully present, wholly engaged. One, you're connected to purpose, your passion to make things better for others. Two, your thoughts are sharp, clear, and proper perspective. And three, your emotions work for you instead of against you. You're poised. And four, you project your strengths and best qualities in your actions. Purpose, perspective, poise, projection. Here's another way to say it, also in four words. Be fully present persistently.
