- [Instructor] In the previous exercise I had covered off the importance and creation of a design system. In this exercise, we're going to create a screen using a design system, and we're going to create an Android version of the home screen using selected elements from the material design UI kit available from the Figma community site. So let's get started. And to get yourself started open the RabbitBlanketDesignSystem.fig file found in your chapter download. Now a design system could be used two ways, and the way we're using it here is called a local design system, basically, it's attached to a document but you can also add it to the team library by simply coming up here, selecting the name and publishing it to the team library.
