Saving effect presets
- [Instructor] So I'm here in the chapter five/four project, and Final Cut has the great ability to save video presets. Let's keep a couple things in mind. Of course you're going to want to save complex video effects, so you can actually add multiple effects to a clip, change their parameters, and save that and that's going to show up in your effects browser, and you can easily apply it to another clip. So anything that you spend a lot of time on, you're going to want to save. But I want to get your mind set up for saving simple effects. Those are just anything from fade-ins to maybe the simple scale in of a clip, and that answers your question. Yes, you can actually save transform settings, which we covered in the last chapter. You can save those in effect preset, and have access to it in the effect browser. So let's start by saving an effect that is a combination of some transform properties, mixed with an effect that we find from the effect browser. I'm going to hover over my time…
