Creating a static stress study of an assembly
- [Narrator] When doing simulations on assemblies, the workflows are very much the same with a couple of notable exceptions. An assembly requires a simulation to understand how the components will interface and interact. So once you've started a new study, you'll need to take a look at what components are needed in the assembly that you might be able to remove. And what components could possibly be replaced. Another consideration is are there components that aren't in this assembly that will be present when the assembly is in action. The simplified tools give us some interesting options. We can, of course, take any of the model components that we don't need including the washer, the bolt, and the pin, and remove them from the simulation.
