Preview the mesh and run an analysis
- [Instructor] The final step is to execute the solve. However, there are several things that go on behind the scenes once you've launched a solve. If you don't look at the mesh in advance and review it to make sure it's what you would expect, the study will go ahead and generate the mesh in the process without you reviewing it before it goes into the calculation process. The mesh itself is generated based on the settings. To take a look at those settings, you can go to the manage tab and select settings. In the settings, it's possible to even change what type of analysis is being done. You can change the name and you can modify the mesh. Right now, it's a model based mesh set to be larger upwards of 10% of the overall model size. If we had an assembly we could allow different mesh values to be applied to different parts based on their size. And we have the option of applying an absolute size if we want to specific node…
