Set up an analysis of an event over time

- [Instructor] Infusion 360, it's easy to manipulate the mechanism of an assembly just by simply moving unrestricted degrees of freedom. However, to understand how this clip would slip over this latch edge requires a mechanical event simulation. A mechanical event simulation is a type of simulation that can explore the performance of components over time and under varying conditions. We'll start out as usual with the simplify workspace because we really only need two components. So we'll grab the housing and the pin and remove them from the simulation. Then we'll start with our materials. The clip itself is stainless steel however, the housing was designed as plastic. You can of course add a plastic non-linear material because we are going to be working with non-linear analysis to Fusion 360 on your own.
