A deep dive into computer vision from an industry leader
- This is an audio course. Thank you for listening. - I mean, when you think about artificial intelligence, it is this nebulous term people use. And it just means that we are trying to make machines as smart as humans. Right? Think like humans. - [Instructor] That was Satya Mallick, who is a doctor of computer vision and I'm still blown away that that's even a thing. But he and I have been friends for a while and have always been impressed by his ability to take something so complex and so abstract and boil it down and show us how these things affect our everyday lives. So today, what we're going to be looking at is a platform he specializes in called Open CV. Which is stands for Open Computer Vision. And it's a really popular platform for developing Machine Learning and AI type applications whether that be on a device or in the cloud. And we're going to go deep into that maybe why you should learn it, how you can learn it and even just how it works and how the different parts of computer vision function. So here we go. Without further ado, Satya Mallick. (upbeat music)
