Fortunately, as a project management professional, you have the skills to make the transition as smooth as possible. First, remember nothing in life is risk-free. As an employee, you could be laid off or your company could go out of business. Being an entrepreneur might seem risky where you get to make your own decisions, the type of work you do, how you win a contract, when it's time for a change and so on.
