- [Instructor] Okay, now that we've uploaded our first video to YouTube, let's talk about the things that we should be doing immediately to boost the visibility of that video. First of all, you should watch that video all the way through. I mentioned it early in the course, but one of the biggest indicators that YouTube uses to rank videos is the average view duration. So, if you're the first viewer of your video and you watch it all the way through, that video essentially starts out with an average view duration of 100% of whatever the video length is. That's a good way to start us. It's not going to stay that way, but it's good to get the ball rolling early. I kind of look at this as a bit of a YouTube hack that not everybody knows about.
