- [Instructor] If we're going to talk about monetization diversification on YouTube, the conversation wouldn't be complete without talking about sponsorships. The first thing that I want to mention is that you should be using the BrandConnect media kit on YouTube. "What's that?" you ask. Let's take a look. Okay, so here we are on my YouTube account. We're in the monetization section, and across the top you'll notice that we have a tab called BrandConnect. Now this actually used to be FameBit, which was a service that connected brands with influencers and content creators, but it got bought out by YouTube, and they actually stopped the self-management side of FameBit. So you can't go in and try and find a brand, but brands can still search for you. So you just kind of have to be lucky or just be really popular and a brand will reach out to you.
