- [Instructor] Although YouTube Ads are generally the main way to earn money on YouTube, it's always a good idea to diversify your monetization strategy, and selling merchandise is one way to do that. So what can you sell on YouTube? Well, pretty much anything. But the top options are branded merchandise, so that is using an online e-commerce platform that has a bunch of options for you of shirts and coffee mugs and all sorts of things that you can slap your branded logo on, and then sell it, and it will have your brand on there and look as though it's yours, but you didn't create the product. But you can sell your own products, which can include handmade crafts or really any product that you can add to one of the supported online stores.
