What does a social media manager do?

- If you think that being a social media manager means you get to sit around all day scrolling through Instagram or make fun TikTok videos, then you're wrong. Being a social media manager is so much more than that. And here's what we actually do. Develop effective strategies to make sure that your marketing goals are met. Create engaging content for various social media channels by designing graphics and creating video content. Work with other team members to execute social media campaigns. Respond to comments and questions on each channel and monitor online conversations for mentions of brand. Track metrics and analytics to assess the performance of each social media platform. Report progress and result to clients on a regular basis. As you can see, a career in social media management is far from just posting pictures and writing captions, from strategy development to campaign execution to content creation, being a successful social media manager requires wearing many different hats, but if you are up for the challenge it can be an incredibly exciting and rewarding career.
