- When looking at job postings by most organizations, you'll find that they tend to be pretty bland. They'll generally talk about the job duties, desired skills of candidates, academic requirements, salary range, and benefits in a matter of fact terms without much feeling. In the Great Reshuffle area, that's not nearly enough. The truth is money and job titles aren't the main drivers for many employees who are now evaluating how they live their life and with whom they associate. Remember, people are looking for a sense of community, a feeling of belonging now that they can work for anyone without necessarily being near an office or even tied to one. A 2020 "Harvard Business Review" article noted a UK study of more than 2000 employees where 55% say they would prefer companies with a family feel held together by tradition and loyalty.
