- We always want our colleagues to feel safe at work. I'm not just talking about physical safety but also psychological safety. Center for creative leadership defines psychological safety as a belief that you won't be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes. When employees feel safe to make mistakes, take risks, and share ideas freely, they feel more liberated to show up as their best selves. It also enhances productivity.
