That's why it's critical for HR professionals to drive diversity initiatives and create a more inclusive work culture. Let's first begin by understanding common types of biases that have become more prevalent since the pandemic. Recency bias. This is when we make decisions based on recent events. This may color our judgment and we may not look at the situation holistically.
