- [Instructor] I'm not always on my production Mac with Xcode loaded. Many times, I don't want the overhead of Xcode while I'm doing some prototyping. I often use a playgrounds app on my iPad for this kind of work. There's also a Mac Playgrounds application that does the same as the iPad Playgrounds, and could be a great way of working, displaying prototypes, on systems without Xcode, and transferring playgrounds from iPad to Xcode. Let's take a look at it. It's a free app so it's easy to get from the app store. And, I can see that I get a window very similar to the iPad version. And you can see there's two kinds of files here, and each one of these is an actual file for the Playground. There's ones with hammers.
