Annotation tools

- The Annotation and Measuring tools are by far the tools I use most often in AutoCAD 360. Most of the time, I'm away from my desk and someone calls needing a measurement, or I'm on a job site and I think something has been placed incorrectly and I need to measure my drawing and then make a note to correct my drawing or speak with the contractor when I return to the office. Here we have the revcloud tool which allows me to draw simple bubble around something that needs my attention. The size of the arcs is relative to the screen size, so as I create my revcloud here and then zoom in and create another revcloud, we can see the further I zoom in, the smaller the revcloud is. Typically, if I'm creating a revcloud to draw attention to a specific area, it helps to add a note or text to explain what it is that is being highlighted. I use the Text tool found here, and click for my point. A small dialogue appears and I can change my font, the color of the text, and the justification. This…
