Ranking issues on boards

- [Instructor] JIRA provides an easy way to order and prioritize issues. On a board, drag an issue above or below another issue to determine ranking. In the example, the position of SCRUM-10 is changing. Issues at the top of the list are higher priority than issues at the bottom. Ranking is a global concept. Issues are ranked against other issues, regardless of their JIRA project, issue type, or board. Ranking is not related to other standard fields, like original estimate, story points, or priority, but you can use these concepts together to inform the prioritization process. An issue only has one rank, even if it's included in multiple boards. The display order is based on the issue's relation to other issues. If you change in issues rank on one board, it automatically changes on other boards. This means project managers, team leads, and product owners need to work together to determine priorities.
