- [Instructor] In this section, we'll explore some of the built-in reports for development teams. But first, here's some terms you'll encounter in the reports area. These screenshots are from server, but the concepts are the same in cloud and data center. A burndown chart is a graphical representation of work remaining versus time remaining. This measured sprint progress later to an ideal pace. So you can predict completion. A burnup chart is similar but it measures work completed against a goal. I find the burndown chart more useful for developers and the burnup chart more useful for leadership. Every project iteration, sprint or release, has a certain plan size or scope. The burnup, burndown, and sprint reports help monitor scope creep. Scope creep is when the size of the sprint increases after work starts.
