When to post

- So now here comes the common question. When should I post? What day should it be? How many times, right? I know. You want to know what to post? I get it. You want people to see what you're talking about. So when you think about figuring out when to post, you're not going to get it as soon as you start. You're not. You need to content to gauge when to do it. So for example, when I first started I was like, you know what? 8:55 AM Easter Standard Time. That's my time zone. That's what I'm going to post. So I did it for like a week to see where everything was. I found that it was pretty good. So I was like, let me keep posting around that time. However, after three months, I quickly realized that I could switch up that time. So then I went from Friday to like three o'clock. Right? Then I went from, okay. You know 8:55 on a Tuesday, let's go to 12:05 and so I found that by switching the times I got better engagement or I got a not-so-good engagement. When do you think about posting content also think about what people are doing during the day. So I picked 8:55 because it was before work. I picked lunchtime, right? 12, one, because people are eating, they could probably watch a video that I might put out, and that I would do a round when works ends, four to six because people are probably finishing up the day, and they would've consume content. So either learn or decompress throughout a busy day. So look, I don't have the magic formula. I don't have a silver bullet or anything like that. Like, I can't help you with that. However, what I can help you with is the strategy of figuring out how to pick the right times. And look, when you post this content, you don't need to overdo it. You're not posting five times a day. You're just being consistent with, hey, let's do one post, let's pick a time and let's commit to it, and let's AB test to see what happens. And ultimately, you want to leverage your data once you get to that three months that I talked about. It's really like looking at the data to be like hmm, okay. Awesome. I found out that Friday at two is a perfect time for my audience. Or Thursday at one is an amazing time for me to post the video. That's how you're going to get better at knowing when to post. Don't overthink it. Don't overwhelm yourself. And that's why this part is important because when you are thinking about when to post, it's not looking at a whole spreadsheet of what someone else has, it's you just starting to figure out when to do it.
