- Hung was at a career crossroads. Well, he had spent the last seven years in business development for a telecom company. He had hit a ceiling with no chance for upward mobility. He wanted to get back to product management for startups but he had no idea where to start. That's when I encouraged Hung to make a list of everyone he knew who might be helpful in his journey, past coworkers, old bosses, people he knew from his community, or that he had met at conferences. It was through this process that Hung reconnected with a college friend who graciously walked him through the startup landscape in their city.
