From the course: Mapping to Learn with Figma

The power of mapping

- [Drew] Hello, welcome to Mapping to Learn with Figma. My name is Drew Bridewell. I'm Head of Design and Product at GrowthDay, founder of Next Level UX, a holistic learning path focused on teaching intentional design, and I also host Practical UX Weekly on LinkedIn Learning. Now, 17 million US employees have stated that they wanted to start a new business this year, according to a recent QuickBooks survey, and more than 5 million new companies are predicted to be created in 2022. The big question here is what systems and tools will these new business owners need to help build products and services that feel integrated and connected? In this course, we'll be mapping to learn using Figma. You'll learn how to create systems from nothing and how to turn those systems into actionable flows and diagrams that you can build and turn into user experiences. You'll also get a crash course on how to map a flow, identify problems, unlock opportunities, and design key strategies that integrate your systems cohesively. By the end of this course, I hope you feel confident and courageous in approaching complex problems that you want to solve in the world of user experience design. Now it's time to start mapping to learn in Figma.
