- [Narrator] Moving on to Field Service Scheduling. When talking about scheduling, we'll be using the term resource. A resource can be a piece of equipment, a person, or a facility. Basically a resource is something or someone that can be scheduled to fix an item. When scheduling a field service, you wouldn't just send anyone. There are some questions that need to be asked and answered. For example, who is qualified to work on the unit? When can we schedule a service call? When does a service need to be completed by? What resources are going to be needed? Dynamics 365 helps you answer these questions and schedule resources. Dynamics 365 offers the following resource management capabilities.
