- [Instructor] Let's get started with building a basic canvas app. To build canvas apps, you're always working online via your browser. You don't need to download or install any software. Just navigate to make.powerapps.com. From here, we click on Create to see the options for creating a new app. And you'll see here that we can start from blank. We can start from a data source, from an image, from Figma or if we scroll down a bit, you'll see that there's a range of different templates that you can also use to get started. Starting from blank is exactly what you would expect. That's going to open a blank canvas, you're going to have all the options available to you, and that's something that you're going to want to come back to once you've got a little bit more experience.
