- In this section, we're going to follow Snoop Dogg's lead and drop it like it's hot with our drop-down menus. Let's check this out. Let's create some drop-down menus for our shirt color request form. So here in column A, we have a list of the names of the different employees. And in column B, we have a space for their shirt color request. And our shirt color options are in column I as blue, black, or green. Now let's say we want to create a drop-down menu inside of column B so that way whoever is filling out the form only has those three options to select from. We can do this using the data validation tool. So first thing, let's highlight the cells that we want to apply this drop-down menu to. So here I've highlighted cells B2 through B9, and now we can navigate over to our data ribbon. And in the data tools section, we have the data validation option.
