- [Instructor] To bring data into the Navisworks environment we first need to go to the home tab on the ribbon. Then over on the left-hand side, there is an option to append. Now you can either select on this picture up above the word append or you can just click on append and then click this append with little plus sign next to it. That'll open up the append dialog box. The next thing that we're going to need to do is go and find where those files are located at. In my case, I have on my desktop, the exercise files folder. If I double click on the exercise file folder, underneath zero one essentials, there is a project files folder. Double click there and right now it says. "No items match your search." the reason why it's saying that there is no files that we can append into the project is that down at files of type, it's looking for a Navisworks NWD file.
