- [Instructor] In the Clash Detective dialogue box toward the left-hand side there is a tab called Rules. Now, it's important to understand what rules actually means. It allows you to ignore clashes between whatever it is that you've specified. In this case, you can see that there's a checkmark for items in the same file. By running items in the same file, that would mean that for instance I would not be clashing any of the duct work against any of the duct work inside of the same file or perhaps any of the sanitary systems versus any of the sanitary systems in the same file. There's also options here for any items that happen to be on the same layer, any items that happen to be inside of the same group, which is the same sort of grouping of objects. And also there's an option here for the new, which means that you can create new rules that can run such as ignore clashes between objects in certain selection sets. An…
