In this lesson, you will understand how to combat post-gift anxiety during the final stage of a donor's decision-making process and how to create life-long donors. The decision-making process for a donor involves five stages known as ASADA. The final stage is the second assess stage. At this point, donors have already written a check but they may be experiencing anxiety about it. They may start scrutinizing how your nonprofit is using their donation. The magnitude of their post-gift anxiety depends on the importance of their gift, the amount of their gift and the attractiveness of other causes.
