- [Instructor] I'm sure that you're already very familiar with email but for the OMCA exam you'll have to identify the elements and terminology of an email and the campaign delivery structure. So let's take a look at the structure and critical elements of an email and why these elements are important factors in the compliance and success of email campaigns. What we are most familiar with is the email preview. This is the small box of information about the email. It contains the sender, the subject line, and the pre-header, which acts as a preview of the content in the email. The sender is important because it lets us know who sent the email. This type of branded communications format works well as it is clearly from the brand. If it were only a person's name we may not associate it with the brand. Once we decide to open or view the email we'll see the entire message. The email itself is made up of three basic components.…
