Demo: Changing the license type of a VM DB system

(gentle music) - [Eddie] Hello and welcome. My name is Eddie Ambler. In this demo we will go through changing the license type of a VM DB system using the OCI console. To begin the process of changing the license type of a VM DB system, open the navigation menu. Click on Oracle Database, then click on Oracle Base Database VM. On the left rail, choose the compartment where the DB system that you want to change the license type for resides. In the list of DB systems displayed, find the name of the DB system whose license type you would like to change. For our demo we will select MyDemoDBSystem for the DB system name. On the DB Systems Details page, under More Actions, click on Update License Type. The dialogue box displays the license type options with your current license type selected. As you can see, our current license is BYOL. For this exercise, we will change the license type to License Included and click on Save…
