(gentle music) - [Leo] Hi, my name is Leo Alvarado, and in this video we will going to cover configuring automatic backups for a database on Exadata Database Service on dedicated infrastructure. Let's begin by opening the navigation menu of your OCI console. Under the Oracle Database, click Exadata on Oracle Public Cloud. Choose your compartment and navigate to the cloud VM cluster containing the database you want to configure. In the list of databases, find the database for which you want to enable the automatic backups. Click its name to display your database details and click Configure Automatic Backups. Check to Enable automatic backup. Choose one of the following preset retention periods. Select a backup scheduling, then click Save Changes. Pay attention to the details under the Backup section in which you can see that the automatic backup is enabled, with the selected backup retention period, and backup schedule.
