Demo: Create an on-demand full backup of a database on your Exadata Database Service on dedicated infrastructure

- [Leo] Hi, my name is Leo Alvarado, and in this video we will cover creating an on-demand full backup of a database on Exadata Database Service on dedicated infrastructure. Let's begin by opening the navigation menu of your OCI console. Under the Oracle Database, click Exadata on Oracle Public Cloud. Choose your compartment and navigate to the cloud VM cluster containing the database you want to back up. In the list of databases, find the database for which you want to create an on-demand full backup. Under the Resources, click Backups, then click Create Backup. Provide the backup name, then click Create. You can monitor the progress of the backup creation operation on the work request details page. Once the backup creation is complete, status changes from backup in progress to available, and you will see the created on-demand full backup of the database in the list of backups located under Backups.
