Demo: Enable Data Guard for a VM DB system

- Hello and welcome. My name is Eddie Ambler. In this demo, we will go through how to use the O C I console to enable data guard on a VM DB system. Let's get started with enabling data guard for a database on a VM DB system by opening the navigation menu. Click on Oracle database, then click on Oracle base database VM. On the left rail, Validate that the compartment chosen contains a DB system with a database for which you want to enable Oracle data guard for. Click the name of a DB system that contains a database you want assume the primary role for. For demo, we will select MyDemoDBSysProd1. This will bring up the DB systems details page. On the DB systems details page, scroll down to the database section and click on the name of the database you want to make primary. For demo, we'll select My19cCDB.
