(tranquil music) - [Leo] Hello and welcome. My name is Leo Alvarado and in this video, we are going to cover how to enable Oracle Data Guard on Exadata database service on dedicated infrastructure. Let's begin by opening the navigation menu of your OCI console. Under the Oracle database, click Exadata on Oracle Public Cloud. Choose your compartment that contains the Exadata database service instance with the database for which you want to enable the Oracle Data Guard. Then navigate to the cloud VM cluster that contains the database you want to assume the primary role. In the database section, click the name of the database you want to make the primary. Here you can see that the Data Guard is not yet enabled. So let's now enable Oracle Data Guard. On the database details page, under the resources, click Data Guard associations.
