(ambient music) - [Eddie] Hello and welcome, my name is Eddie Ambler. In this demo, we will go through how to use the OCI Console to apply a DB System update. Remember to always update the DB System before you update the database within that system. Let's start the DB System update process by first using the OCI Console to precheck the planned update, prior to applying the update to the DB System. Open the Navigation Menu, click on Oracle Database, then click on Oracle Base Database VM. The left rail validate that the Compartment selected is where the DB System that will be patched resides. For our demo, we will select MydemoDBSystem from the list of available DB Systems. This will bring up the DB System's Details Page. In the DB Systems Information Tab under Version, you can see that the DB System's current Version is 19.14 and that the latest Patch Available is 19.15.
