Demo: Scale the storage for a VM DB system

(soothing digital music) - [Eddie] Hello, my name is Eddie Ambler. In this demo, we will go through how to scale the storage for a VM DB system using the OCI console. Let's start by opening the navigation menu. Click on Oracle Database. Then click on Oracle Based Database VM. On the left rail, validate that the compartment selected contains the DB system that you want to scale the storage for. In the list of DB systems displayed, find the name of the DB system that you want to scale up the storage for and click its highlighted name. For our demo, we will click on MyDemoDBSystem. On the DB system's details page, note that the available storage is 256 gigs for the data storage. At the top of the page, click on the Scale storage up button.
