(euphoric sound) - [Leo] Hello, my name is Leo Alvarado, and in this video we are going to cover how to update guest VM operating system on Exadata database service on Cloud@Customer. In the demo, I will demonstrate how to run pre-check prior to the virtual machine OS update, and how to apply the Exadata OS image update. Let's begin. On your Oracle Cloud console, open the navigation menu under Oracle Database, click Exadata Cloud@Customer. Choose your compartment and the list of VM clusters is displayed for the chosen compartment. Click the name of the cluster you want to patch to display the cluster details. In the version section to the right of the updates available, click View Updates to display the updates page. Locate the operating system patch you are applying. Then click the actions icon and click pre-check. Oracle highly recommends that you run the pre-check operation before you apply the patch. Running a…
