- [Instructor] To learn a bit about Red Hat certifications, let's browse to their certification site and take a look at the list. Red Hat has a large offering of Linux certifications, including the famous Red Hat Certified Engineer, as well as specialized higher in certifications, covering many topics, such as cloud computing and performance tuning. The base certification however is the RHCSA, which tests a user's knowledge of Red Hat system administration. This course is the first half of a two-part series that is a fast track to the RHCSA certification. Here's a brief list of the objectives that we'll cover in this course. Under deploying systems, we'll learn to configure networking, schedule recurring tasks, install Linux systems as virtual guests, configure systems to use time services, install and update software packages, update the kernel and modify the system bootloader.
