Do you suffer from misoneism? I know, I know, you probably are wondering, what is that? Misoneism is a psychological condition that is characterized by a strong aversion to new ideas, technologies and cultural changes. You tend to cling to the old ways of doing things and resist any form of progress or evolution. You may even view change as a threat to your comfort zone. Now that you know what it is, are you guilty of having it? How about when it comes to DEI? This is a very important discussion to have, because one thing I've learned as an HR professional and a former chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer is that this work I do is all about leading change.
