- Talent sourcing has become more crucial due to the shortage of top talent and pressure to fill open requisitions faster. Talent sourcing methods can be overwhelming when you think of the constant introduction of new resources. What I want to address first is Google, which is a tremendous free resource, if you learn how to use it properly. It's important to set the right expectations for using Google and other search engines. Googlebot is the web crawler software used by Google that collects documents from the web to build a searchable index for the Google search engine. This name is used to refer to two different types of web crawlers, a desktop crawler, and a mobile crawler. Googlebot finds the information on the surface web.
