- Did you know recruiters and employers often decide within six to seven seconds if they want to hire you by looking at your LinkedIn profile? After this lesson, you'll be able to apply specific strategies to create an engaging profile that will have recruiters sending you messages to work with them. First, ask AI about common industry words, skills, and experiences that must be included in your LinkedIn for the next job you want. Here's a prompt you can use. "You are job recruiter. "What are words, skills, and experiences I must share "on my LinkedIn if I were to apply "for an accounting job in tech?" You can find this prompt in the Exercise file. Then include these keywords to update your LinkedIn Headline, About and Skill sections. Second, update your profile picture and cover photo.
