- [Instructor] Let's start our discussion with Windows Server remote access. We will specifically talk about remote access for Windows Server in an on-premise environment. When we talk about remote access on Windows server, it can take many different configuration. For example, it can be VPN-type of access. Remote access can also be given using specific routing mechanism, web proxy, or direct access. In this particular video, we will focus on VPN-type of connection. First, let's take a look at remote access console. After you install remote access role on a server that is running Windows Server, you can manage this particular remote access capabilities using Remote Access Management Console.
