Polishing the draft
- So, you've gathered all the elements of your white paper into a draft but is it ready for review and publication? You can never be 100% sure, errors have a way of creeping into everything but I'd like to give you a checklist to help avoid the most awkward mistakes. First, the big stuff. Ironically it's easier to miss something big than something small. That's because grade school trains us to look for those little things and they give us a sense of accomplishment when we spot them but the big ones often slip by. Be sure your company name and contact information are not only included but correct. Of course that includes names and URLs but also corporate assets like logos. And if you produce the white paper together with partners, be sure that their information is complete and correct as well especially personal names and titles.
