Those of you who know me, know that I love a Diet Coke, so this news hit close to home...especially as this is already the case here in the UK! The move from Coca-Cola to PepsiCo could have significant implications for Subway. Specifically, it may alienate 13-15 year old Subway lovers in the US who prefer Coca-Cola to Pepsi. This is a crucial age where kids start to choose venues for themselves and find their preferred brands that they're likely to stick to for years to come. In my case, I'll always choose Greggs over Subway, or Costa over Starbucks, because I know I can get my Diet Coke fix, but maybe I'm more picky than some. Time will tell, but I'm curious to know what you all think! #insight #consumerinsight #qsr #industrynews #cocacola #subway #pepsi

5moThis is really interesting. I wonder what the response will be from Coca Cola and if they will be searching for a new partnership in this space.
