She applied it live, showing changes and comparing treated vs. untreated areas. The visual impact: dry skin turned visibly moisturized. Result? Why would you ever use a robot cowboy dinosaur in an advertisement about 3D printing? It has nothing to do with what we offer, but that doesn't matter. Sarah asked us to bring ideas to the table for ads we could put in the MMX program. This was one of the ideas I came up with, and AI helped me generate the image. I've learned a lot about marketing and sales over the years. When it comes to an advertisement or presence at a trade show the worst thing you can do is blend in and not get noticed. This idea really settled in my mind after listening through 'Purple Cow' by Seth Godin. It talks about standing out from the crowd at all costs. Even if that means being a little weird. If you saw a Purple Cow on a road trip, you would have to stop and look at it. You'd tell your friends about it. You might even try to call the farmer who owns the cow to ask about it. Flipping through the program, you'll find lots of black, gray, and beige colors. You'll find lots of text about companies who offer high quality stuff at a great price. I'm happy with how it turned out, and a handful of people stopped by the booth to say how much they liked the ad. If you're struggling with marketing, maybe it's time to stand out at all costs, even if it's a little uncomfortable. Embrace the 🐄
