A busy week in Cornwall on our #AWE24 Level B Experiment. It is a pleasure to lead the collaboration of SME companies, utilising true experimental time in the field with UK MOD support and feedback. Working closely with the British Army to experiment with a highly capable 30 MPH unmanned platform, we have integrated a number of sub systems to provide full situational awareness of the urban environment and the hazards within surface and sub-surface. Tele-operations at a significant distance has been an invaluable learning experience. We are indebted to our technology partners, MI Robotics for the provision of the #Agito and #Bigfoot UGVs, Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon for the 3D mobile mapping capability #BLK_ARC, Symetrica and Redara Labs Inc. for terrain mapping with the #VeriFinder CBRN sensor all tied into our Mesh Radios provided by Domo Tactical Communications (DTC). We have set an ambitious target for ionoco to encrypt and stream all sensor outputs to a single command node. Many thanks to everyone who was involved in this week and making it happen. Looking forward to the next stage of development. Great week, thank you for having me.

1moAn outstanding week of experimentation - a true learning journey through a defined and scientifically structured, increasingly challenging, sequence of experiments - exactly how these projects should be run. Great to be involved in this project with 5C Consulting Ltd our Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon military/defence distribution partners within the UK, and also the wider team of companies coming together for this project 👏👏
