Optical moulds may have features such as micro-holes, threads, and slots according to different application. #Surface #quality (surface #roughness and tool marks) of the slots will have great influence on the product.⚠️ In conventional #CNC #machining, strong cutting forces and constant contact between tool and workpiece would accelerate and intensify tool wear. The rapid wear of tool increases the #friction between tool and workpiece, resulting in serious damage to the surface quality❗️❗️ The high #frequency #micro-#vibration of HIT ultrasonic-assisted machining technology allowed for #intermittent contact between the tool and workpiece.
