Justin Brandon and Dylan Phillips are always the top 2 I'm looking to beat. They never miss and typically hit quota w/in the first half of the month. After a herculean effort, I'd Tied them for #1 spot on the last day of the month. I had a few meetings scheduled but nothing of real note to overtake them....
I relaxed...
I'd taken my foot off the gas and honestly chilled after I tied them. There'd been a few process changes that had made the sales process tougher I was feeling pretty burnt me out hustling those last few deals to put me at #1 in US/Canada... I was done for the month.
Saturday evening, sometime after I'd begun celebrating a well-earned rest, They posted 3 more deals apiece...
Bruh...
You can’t get complacent around these guys. Better yet, you shouldn't get complacent at all. Lesson Learned, full sprint to the end. The moment you slow to look around to see where everyone else is is the moment you get blown past. Run your race.
